When you foster, you’re not just housing a dog. You’re healing a heart, shaping a future, and giving a soul the space to grow.

💕 Mama Dogs & Their Puppies

Every year, we open our arms to mamas and their babies—many just days from being euthanized in overcrowded shelters. Some come to us while still pregnant, others arrive with litters in tow, and sometimes the tiniest, most fragile pups arrive all alone.

These families need a soft place to land—a calm, nurturing environment where tiny paws can take their first steps in safety and love.

As a foster, your role is to:

Provide a quiet, loving space for mom to care for her babies
Bring the pups to adoption events once they reach 8 weeks
Help us prepare them for their forever homes with early love, structure, and play

🐶 Short-Term Fosters for Our Prison-Trained Dogs

Our dogs in training through our prison program come out with obedience skills and heart—but very little exposure to the outside world.

We need fosters willing to welcome these dogs for 3 to 6 weeks, helping us learn:

How do they do with kids?
Are they cat-friendly?
How do they handle the sights and sounds of everyday life?

You'll help bridge the gap from prison to public—giving us the insight we need to place them with the perfect family. We’ll guide you through our training protocols and support you every step of the way. In fact, we’d love for you to attend a couple of group outings with your foster to show off their progress!

🐕 Teenage Puppies Needing a Second Look

Sometimes puppies grow up before getting adopted. These adolescent dogs—especially the larger breeds—need someone with a big heart and a little patience to help them cross the finish line.

They’ve already received foundation training (and usually some great crate manners!), but they need help navigating the world:

Outings to adoption events
Continued socialization and structure
Guidance to grow into confident companions

These “teen pups” are goofy, loving, eager-to-learn—and just waiting for their shot at forever.
